About the Performer:

From his first No. 1 smash "Should've Been A Cowboy" to his new album 35 mph Town, Toby Keith has been one of the most consistent self-directed hit makers of his era. From one of his previous collections, Clancy's Tavern, the lead single, "Made In America," topped the charts as one of the fastest rising songs in a long line of chart burners from Keith's pen. The second hit, "Red Solo Cup," has become the most remarkable and commercially successful country single in recent memory with a viral video with more than 30 million views while having topped the top downloaded country songs charts. The first single from 35 mph Town, "Drunk Americans," debuted at No. 1 Most Added on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase charts; while the current single, "Beautiful Stranger," which has already gained critical acclaim, launches at radio.
At the core of Toby's unparalleled success is his songwriting, which has powered an astounding succession of hit songs to the tune of more than 87 million BMI performances on commercial radio stations worldwide. This summer Toby was inducted in to the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in New York City, and he has been honored by the Nashville Songwriters Association International with its Songwriter/Artist of the Decade distinction, is a three-time BMI Country Songwriter/Artist of the Year and was named the American Country Awards' Artist of the Decade. His albums have sold more than 40 million copies, ranking him among the top-selling all-genre artists on Billboard's Top 200 Artists of the Decade. Keith is also Billboard's No. 1 Country Artist of the Decade and No. 1 Country Songwriter of the Decade. His tours, including 2014's Shut Up And Hold On Tour, long sponsored by Ford Trucks, have drawn more than one million fans each year for the last decade. This year's Good Times & Pick Up Lines Tour presented by Ford F-Series kicked off on May and continues through the rest of this year.  But Toby's most rewarding experiences, as exhibited in his continual devotion to them, come from giving back. Whether it's helping sick children and their families in his native Oklahoma through the Toby Keith Foundation and their cost-free home, OK Kids Korral, or supporting US Troops including 11 USO Tours throughout the world, Keith has never lost touch with the most important things in life.

ABOUT THE PERFORMER

In the tightknit musical community of Austin, Texas, it’s tough to get away with posturing. You either bring it, or you don’t.

If you do, word gets around. And one day, you find yourself duetting with Bonnie Raitt, or standing onstage with the Allman Brothers at New York’s Beacon Theater and trading verses with Susan Tedeschi. You might even wind up getting nominated for a Best Blues Album Grammy — three times in a row. And those nominations would be in addition to your seven Blues Music Awards, three Austin Music Awards, the Grand Prix du Disque award from the Académie Charles-Cros in France, a Living Blues Critics’ Award for Female Blues Artist of the Year, and the title of an “inspiring American Artist” as a United States Artists 2018 Fellow.

There’s only one Austinite with that résumé: Ruthie Foster. And with the release of her latest album, Joy Comes Back, the Recording Academy might want to put its engraver on notice. Because every note on it confirms this truth: It’s Ruthie’s time. The small rural town of Gause, TX had no chance of keeping the vocal powerhouse known as Ruthie Foster to itself. Described by Rolling Stone as “pure magic to watch and hear,” her vocal talent was elevated in worship services at her community church. Drawing influence from legendary acts like Mavis Staples and Aretha Franklin, Foster developed a unique sound unable to be contained within a single genre. That uniqueness echoes a common theme in Ruthie’s life and career - marching to the beat of her own drum.

About the Performer:

“Stop and think it over,” the big man with the hat and glasses has asked, from
a thousand stages, in front of millions of people. “Try to put yourself in my
position.”

We can’t. We can imagine, but we can’t know. We can’t know what it’s like to
be the only son of Hank Williams, the long gone and lonesome singer whose
brief life transformed country music. We can’t know what it’s like to be
linked to such a transformative force by blood and name but not by memory, to
learn about a famous father from books and photos and others’ stories: Hank
Williams died at age 29, when his son was three-years-old.

We can’t know what it was like to wrestle with that legacy, to try to honor
all that came before, but not wind up a pale approximation of country’s
greatest ghost. Born Randall Hank Williams, but singing as Hank Williams, Jr.
before he was 10, the son never had much in the way of a career choice. The
choice wasn’t whether he’d sing, but what, how and why. “Other kids could play
cowboys and Indians and imagine that they’d grow up to be cowboys,” he wrote
in his Living Proof autobiography. “I couldn’t do that. I knew that I would
never grow up to be a cowboy or a fireman or the president of the United
States. I knew I’d grow up to be a singer. That’s all there ever was, the only
option, from the beginning.”

At the beginning, mother Audrey Williams worked to mold her son into a
miniature version of his late father, and for 20 years he struggled,
uncomfortably, to break the mold. When he finally found his own sound and
style, he reached sales plateaus that his father never dreamed of: 20 gold
albums, six platinum albums (one of which has sold more than five million
copies) and 13 chart-topping albums. He has been selling out massive venues
for a longer period of time than his father spent on earth. He has done more
than honor his father’s legacy; he has extended it, enriched it, enhanced it
and elevated it. “My name’s a reminder of a blues man that’s already gone,” he
once sang. But the name “Hank Williams, Jr.” is much more than that.

In 1987, Hank, Jr. won his first of five country music entertainer of the year
awards, and the two albums released that year - Hank Live and studio effort
Born To Boogie - were platinum sellers. Born To Boogie was the CMA’s album of
the year in 1988, the year he won the CMA and ACM’s top entertainer prize.
Hank’s star rose far beyond the country world in 1989, when manager Merle
Kilgore arranged a deal with ABC’s Monday Night Football to have Hank, Jr.
rework “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight” into a theme song to be
played before each Monday’s game. Two years later, the Monday Night theme won
the first of four straight Emmy Awards, and Hank, Jr. would be the singing
voice of Monday Night Football for 22 years.

About REO Speedwagon:

Fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon is a band where the main constant over the decades is a never-ending desire to give their all to their fans, year in and year out.

Formed loosely in the late ‘60s, REO (named after the precursor to the light truck) rode to gigs in station wagons, hopping from small gigs to even tinier gigs, just to get their name out.  It worked, as fans quickly realized there was much more going on here than your average college party band.

By the early ‘70s, the band’s unrelenting drive, as well as non-stop touring and recording, jump-started the burgeoning rock movement in the Midwest. It carved a path that was eventually followed by STYX, Kansas, Cheap Trick and more. Platinum albums and freeform FM radio staples such as “Ridin’ The Storm Out” followed, setting the stage for 1980’s explosive Hi Infidelity. REO rode the top of the charts with a RIAA-certified 22 million albums sold in the U.S. and 40 million around the globe, with a string of gold and platinum records and international hit singles.

Today, fully established with songs on the radio in every city and town they ever set foot in, REO Speedwagon still has that Midwest work ethic. The band has gone on stage and in the studio to work– dozens of albums, thousands of concerts, and countless radio spins. Their eyes have always been on the future and on the road – not a year has gone by where REO Speedwagon didn’t perform live, thrilling fans with hit filled sets.

About the Performer:

One might think that with finding success after 25 years of performing at county fairs and oddball venues, the moral of singer-comedian-celebrity impressionist Terry Fator's story might be the cliché of: Never give up on your dreams. But, when it comes to Fator's story of success after 40, that old adage doesn't quite ring true.

"I actually don't believe in not giving up," laughs Fator, 49, who was ranked No. 2 on Forbes' list of the top-earning comics just behind comic legend Jerry Seinfeld in 2013. "It's okay to give up because I did. I worked for 25 years playing every fair, small club and kids' party I could and it just felt like it wasn't going to happen. I resigned myself to just playing kids parties. That was okay for me. But, I didn't stop working and doing the thing that I love to do and getting better at it. Once I did that, something finally happened for me."

That "something" was NBC's hit competition show, "America's Got Talent." After turning down a chance to compete on the first season of the show, his fans wrote the show saying they just had to have Fator on. Producers called Fator and invited him to audition. After seeing, and liking, Season 1 of the show, Fator went for it, and in 2007 the then 42-year-old comedian became the "America's Got Talent" Season 2 champ, taking home the $1 million prize and title of "Best New Act in America." "It was the big break I had worked for my entire life," he says.

It wasn't long before Sin City would recognize Fator as the headlining act he was destined to be. In 2007, he signed a $1.5 million deal to perform at the Las Vegas Hilton. The following year Fator signed what has been described as "one of the largest entertainment deals in Las Vegas history" to headline his own show, "Terry Fator: The VOICE of Entertainment," at The Mirage Hotel & Casino. In 2015, the show celebrated its sixth anniversary at the iconic Strip resort which followed a contract extension that finds Fator calling The Mirage home through 2016.

"I'm grateful that I didn't find success until my 40s," admits Fator, who hails from Dallas, Texas. "I'm not sure I could've handled success at a younger age. It can screw your brain up. Just look at a lot of today's young stars. But at 42, you have perspective and you're more grounded so that when the time comes that all of a sudden millions of people see and like what you do, it doesn't go to your head too much."

Fator's story began long before "America's Got Talent." His first taste of entertainment came at age eight when he tried his hand at magic with the help of a hypnosis book. "I unsuccessfully tried to hypnotize my friends, but then in fifth grade I found a book on ventriloquism and that came pretty quickly for me. I was always fascinated with all forms of entertainment, but especially magic and puppets. But other kids in school were doing magic, and I wanted to be original so ventriloquism became my thing," says Fator, who rounded out his creative endeavors by taking on the lead in many school and church plays as a kid, and later fronted the band Texas the Band from the late '80s through 2001. He was close to signing a record deal with Warner Bros. until they told him he had to take the ventriloquism out of his band performances. That was a deal-breaker for the entertainer.

As a young kid, Fator would practice talking without moving his lips in the privacy of his closet and while he was working odd jobs, hiding his rehearsals from his unsupportive father. At age 10, he bought a $20 puppet from Sears, but its head and eyes didn't move, making it hard to really get his act down. His mother took the puppet apart, gave him a whole new body and slapped a wig on his head – Fator was on his way to practicing with a real puppet that he named Josh. He soon graduated to a semi-professional puppet, which he used until age 18, and onto his first real professional puppet that he named Walter T. Airdale, a country singer, who is still a part of his act today. Little by little Walter was joined by an eclectic cast of characters, including Winston, the Impersonating Turtle; Emma Taylor, the selfie-taking tween with the big voice; Maynard Tompkins, the Elvis Impersonator; Duggie Scott Walker, the annoying neighbor and many others.

After decades of performing, Fator felt at the end of his creative rope. "It was just so discouraging because I felt I had something big to offer that millions would want to see, but I couldn’t find that break. Even five months before “America's Got Talent,” I did a show in 1,000-seat theater and only one person showed up. I was so down. I thought, 'Why am I doing this? It's never gonna happen. I'll never have millions of people that enjoy my gift.' But then I thought, 'Wait a second. I'm lucky that I get to do what I love and I do love this. So what if I always have to play for first graders or kids parties or county fairs? I'm still doing what I love and I'm not going to stop. It's better than going to work at a real job to just pay the bills,'" says the showbiz journeyman.

Today, Fator impersonates more voices than he can count with the help of more than a dozen characters singing everything from Nat King Cole, Garth Brooks, Roy Orbison, Dean Martin, Elvis, Louis Armstrong, Bruno Mars and many more.

Today, Fator finally has that audience of millions who enjoy his work through his sold-out and award-winning live show, multi-platinum selling DVDs (his debut DVD, "Terry Fator: Las Vegas" charted four times platinum), and numerous memorable television appearances. The industry has certified him a bona fide superstar, as well, with Simon Cowell declaring Fator to be "one of the best entertainers in the world" and The Best of Las Vegas Awards honoring "Terry Fator: The VOICE of Entertainment" with awards for Best Show, Best All-Around Performer, Best Impersonator and Best Overall Show.

"The best thing about all of this is that now my creativity is not shackled by my lack of finances. Now, if I have an idea I can actually do it and do it right," he says. In 2013, Fator released a country music album “It Starts Tonight” as well as a children’s book Lamu, The Christmas Kitten which is a story of the life of Jesus Christ as told through the eyes of his cat. In 2014, “Terry Fator: Live in Concert,” a DVD showcasing Fator’s 2013 Las Vegas show, was released nationwide and simultaneously an updated version of the Las Vegas stage show was launched.

What's next? "I just always want to entertain. That's it. I never had fans before and now that I do I just want to keep them smiling and laughing," he adds.

Robert Cray has created a sound that rises from American roots and arrives today both fresh and familiar. In just over 40 years Cray and his band have recorded 20 studio releases, 15 of which have been on the Billboard charts, and played bars, concert halls, festivals and arenas around the world.

Cray has been bridging the lines between blues, soul and R&B for the past four decades, with five Grammy wins and over 20 acclaimed albums.  For his latest project, Robert Cray & Hi Rhythm (April 28 / Jay-Vee Records), the Blues Hall of Famer traveled to Memphis with his friend, renowned Grammy Award winning producer Steve Jordan, to make a classic soul album with Hi Rhythm, the band that helped create that sound.

About the Performer:

“Neon Highway Blues”, Gary’s latest release, carries its 11 tracks with the confidence and assuredness of a veteran, and the freshness of someone who’s still in the process of discovery and refinement — with the help of famous friends such as Eric Gales, Lance Lopez, Josh Smith and Hoey’s 17-year-old son Ian Hoey. The release of “Neon Highway Blues” will, of course, take Gary Hoey back on the highways and byways for plenty of touring and playing, well, the blues — and more. He can’t yet predict where the next road will take him, but Hoey is confident it will be an adventure.

“It’s great to hear Gary sing and play the blues with his trademark intensity, feel and authenticity. And the guitar tones…both vintage and modern at the same time.” - Joe Satriani

In 2012, he produced and co-wrote The Queen Of Metal, Lita Ford’s latest release “Living Like Runaway” for SPV records to rave reviews. As Music Director for Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp, he’s worked with legends like Joe Perry, Roger Daltrey, Yes, blues icon Johnny Winter, Robben Ford, Leslie West, and KISS drummer, Peter Criss. And he has toured and traded licks with the likes of Jeff Beck, Brian May of Queen, Ted Nugent, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Peter Frampton, and Dick Dale.

With a collection of 21 albums it’s no wonder Gary Hoey is listed as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time.  The world renowned rock guitarist’s first break came in 1987 when Ozzy Osbourne liked Hoey’s tape enough to fly him to LA for an audition and encouraged him to move to the West Coast. In 1990 Hoey was signed to Reprise Records with a short lived band called Heavy Bones but followed up in 1993 with a solo album and Gary’s cover of “Hocus Pocus” rocketed into the Billboard’s Top 5 Rock Tracks.  He went on to score the successful “Endless Summer II” soundtrack for New Line Cinema and in 1995 started a trilogy of “Ho!Ho! Hoey,” a collection of instrumental Christmas classics that continues each year in his Rockin Holiday shows.  And in 2013’s “Deja Blues” he came home to the blues.  Gary’s release in 2016, “Dust & Bones,” displayed an exuberant fusion of blues and rock. But whatever style he plays, one thing is certain, Gary Hoey is a fiery, charismatic player who connects with the crowd.

Whether he’s playing scorching originals or classic rock covers, his solos are thrilling and reminiscent of Clapton or Stevie Ray in their fiery youth. One thing that remains consistent is Hoey’s impassioned command of the guitar. He can attack his instrument with feral intensity and then play something very soft and achingly beautiful. This ability to mix feeling, phrasing, technique and tone is the true mark of a master guitarist.

About the Performer:

Valerie performing as Simply Shania does an excellent impersonation of Shania not only by capturing the vocal style of the country mega-star, but also by the meticulous duplicating of her stage costumes.  Even Shania Twain was so impressed that she invited Valerie to join her on stage in Las Vegas during her “Still the One” show so that everyone could see her outfit!   Valerie has had the honor of paying tribute to Shania Twain for many years with performances in 8 countries spanning 3 continents!

Valerie was busy battling jetlag with her band as they traveled halfway around the world not once, but three times to entertain the U.S. Armed Forces stationed in Japan, Okinawa and South Korea.  In addition to those successful international tours, was an eye opening and suspense-filled journey to the Balkans Region where they were officially transported to various U.S. military camps in Kosovo and Macedonia for special concert performances at these locations, boosting the morale and spirits of the troops stationed in this dangerous and troubled part of the world.

Concert-goers will hear all of the crowd favorite chart-topping hits including, “That Don’t Impress Me Much”, “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” and “You’re Still The One”.  In true Shania style, the music is uniquely pop-country with a whole lot of attitude and a kickin’ rock edge.
